Is the NDC Anti-Defection Agreement a Trap for Peter Obi and Obidients?
Signing of an Agreement by NDC Aspirants and the Party is the Biggest Way to Define the Character of Peter Obi and His Foot Soldiers
This is indeed a step that Labour Party National Chairman, Barr. Julius Abure, never took or considered.
A total of 59 Senators and House of Representatives members won the 2023 election under the umbrella of the Labour Party. However, after winning, the only way they chose to reward the people who voted for them and supported them with their personal resources was to abandon the party that gave them the tickets.
Sen. Seriake Dickson, the National Chairman of NDC, has indeed taken a very bold step and exposed the credibility of the so-called Obidient Movement and Peter Obi. The refusal of any aspirant associated with Peter Obi to sign this agreement suggests that there may be a hidden agenda that is not aimed at achieving the better Nigeria they claim to seek.
NDC must stand its ground, and Sen. Seriake Dickson must not bow to pressure to overlook this agreement. Any candidate who truly believes in the party should be willing to sign such a document.
God is beginning to reward Barr. Julius Abure for his good deeds and expose his enemies. Today, NDC has trapped Peter Obi and his political agents. They must sign the agreement, and if they refuse, their tickets should be withdrawn.
The child who says his father will not sleep will also not sleep. This appears to be the situation with Peter Obi and members of the Obidient Movement.
