Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has made a striking prediction regarding the upcoming 2027 presidential election. According to him, President Bola Tinubu will face a “woeful” defeat, no matter how much control he tries to exert over the system. Dalung insists the election results are already sealed by the government’s performance.
Dalung made these bold claims while speaking on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief, drawing immediate attention to the integrity of the next election.
A Strong Warning for 2027
Dalung used vivid imagery to emphasize how badly the ruling party will perform in the upcoming election. He stated that even if President Tinubu were to appoint his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, as the Chief Justice of Nigeria, and his son, Seyi Tinubu, as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the APC would still lose the election.
According to the ADC chieftain, trying to stack the deck will not save the President from the voters during the 2027 election. He pointed out that the recent Osun State governorship election is a clear preview of what is coming.
