Ex-IGP Group Fires Back at Governor Sule
A political support group backing former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has strongly criticized Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule over recent remarks regarding the 2027 governorship race. The group declared that Nasarawa State is not the personal property of any individual or political leader to hand over at will.
Rejecting the Imposition of Successors
The Rtd. IGP Adamu 2027 Movement firmly rejected the idea that political leadership can simply be passed down like private estate. The group insisted that Nasarawa belongs exclusively to its citizens, warning that public office must never be treated as the personal property of outgoing governors.
According to the group, attempts to handpick and install a preferred successor disrespect the democratic process and deny voters their constitutional right to choose their own leaders.
